10 Cheap Party Spots for Fat Tuesday

You don't need an excuse to party tomorrow night because it's Fat Tuesday, the official holiday of fatty foods, booze and general debauchery. Restaurants and bars are offering some cheap food and drink deals, but unfortunately many of them are amping up their Fat Tuesday festivities with cheesy slogans and house music. After the jump you'll find a sampling of Mardi Gras specials, and feel free to add in the comments section any specials or parties we missed.

Hacienda on Henderson, 2326 N. Henderson Ave.-- "Fat 2uesday" with margaritas, hurricanes, draft beer and Cajun tacos for $2 all day

ThreeSheets, 3113 Ross Ave.-- "Fat Ass Tuesday" with free Cajun pizza from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., $5 top shelf hurricanes and SoCo Limes, $2 domestics and $3 imports all night

Sfuzzi, 2602 McKinney Ave.-- "Fat Tuzzday" with half price pizza, and $1 off all drinks (hand grenades and hurricanes available) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; live music from Joe Vega and DJ Goody starting at 8 p.m.

RA Sushi, 7501 Lone Star Drive, Plano--"Mardi RA" starting at 9 p.m. with $2 domestics, $4 Absolut and Red Bull, $5 and $6 Mardi Gras-themed cocktails; food specials include $4 Cajun wings and $6 Creole crawfish; DJ Pete Mash spins until 2 a.m.

Big Shucks, 6232 E. Mockingbird Lane & Aw Shucks, 3601 Greenville Ave.-- $2 off Cajun boiled shrimp dinner (regular price $10.95)

Alligator Cafe, 4416 Live Oak St.-- $15.95 Cajun buffet featuring etouffee, jambalaya, fried catfish, crawfish, bread pudding and more; live music from Hashbrown. Miss Marcy and Cheryl Arena

Ten Sports Grill, 1302 Main St.-- $3 U-Call-Its, 2 for 1 gumbo (normally $6.95 for a bowl) and 2.5 pounds of crawfish for $20; music by DJ Phylia from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, multiple locations-- The Swamp Thing, a blend of margarita, hurricane and flavored liqueurs, is regular price ($8.95) but comes in a complimentary "keepsake" glass; $9.95 boiled crawfish dinner

Razzoo's Cajun Cafe, multiple locations-- $3 hurricanes; specials on crawfish and oysters (vary by location)

Brownstone, 840 Currie St., Fort Worth-- $4 hurricanes and hand grenades and $30 three-course dinner; music by DJ Ryan Vaughn from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The Free Man having Club Wood at 7:00 PM with $2 drafts before that, is definitely the coolest thing you can do in Dallas....

You forgot to mention Club Wood at The Free Man in Deep Ellum.  $2 drafts, $5 Frozen drinks and Half Price fried pickles and boudin balls till 7pm.  Then a party beyond belief hosted by Johnny Tone and Club Wood.  Tell em Large Marge sent ya!
