Hanna Raskin headed to Square Burger in McKinney's historic downtown square for a round burger. Burgers made with hormone-free meat and sweet potato fries made her drive north worthwhile, even if it meant covering herself in lamb burger juice. Check out the full review.

Sidedish: It was all about the cupcakes this week in D's Sidedish. Allison Hatfield blogged that next week all proceeds from cupcakes with gold stars sold at Sprinkles will benefit Hunger Busters, an organization that provides meals for Dallas schoolchildren. Also, Dimples will open its doors Friday at 4 p.m (check it out for free cupcakes and cocktails) and Aston's Bakery will host a Cupcake Happy Hour with $1 cupcakes Friday 4-6 p.m.
Pegasus News: Teresa Gubbins attended how-to tasting and baking lessons at the 2nd Annual Chocolate Conference in Addison, and Michael Clark visited Peach Berry, a frozen yogurt shop with a dozen yogurt flavors and lots of toppings including - you guessed it - peaches and berries.
City of Ate: In a small town tucked inside the Texas Hill Country, Hanna Raskin discovers a centuries old Czech stew festival, and back in Dallas, found the one noteworthy Ethiopian restaurant in town, which opened just three months ago. Elaine Liner hit up several opening night theater productions to fill up on a buffet of free cakes, appetizers and wine, and Steven Doyle found a fisherman's soup, made from an Italian seafood recipe, called Cioppino at Chef Point Café in Watauga. Steven also interviewed Chef Abraham Salum who is celebrating his U.S. citizenship with a new restaurant, and Nick Rallo found Texans who prefer to eat their 2nd Amendment rights.
