Hole in the Wall Temporarily Plugged

• Man, I miss the place already. I have so many memories of playing that place, with BB Campbell and the Hambones, Hash Brown and oh so many others. Met a lot of great musicians and made a lot of friends. Hope the new location is bigger and better and will still have the blues jams!

• Yep, gonna miss the ol Hole In The Wall. Great memories....

• Sure hope it's a great new location WITH live blues AND great greasy burgers & cheese fries!

• I went to the Hole one hungover Sat morning about 10:30-11 looking for a greasebomb to settle the stomach. There was no activity in the place as I looked around. Finally an older black gal comes around the corner and I kinda half apologizingly ask if they're open for business...She asks me, "Is that MFin door locked??? If it aint, I guess we're open". My companion lookedat each other, smiled, and sat down

• Love the burgers but one of my favorite memories was the great big crawfish boils in the backyard. Oh, and try explaining all the ladies underware on the ceiling to your eight year old the frst time you take him there.

• It is my understanding that Tom Ford does not own the land the business sits on. It is possible the parcel will become another wholesale center. Great patty melts, greasy fries and lots of great Blues memories.

• I have had their burgers since I was a wee lad, and will miss them. I was one of the small hoard that would catch the music at the Harry Hines location, and have missed seeing old friends that played there. I maintained they could have done a respectable BYOB service and profited nicely, but eh. The back "yard" is HUGE and quite a valuable chunk of propert I would imagine. Find me there this weekend for at least one round of the greasy burgers and home made fries -- fo sho.

• Love Hole In The Wall. Good burgers, great blues, and unbeatable ambiance. Hopefully, they will be back soon. Looking forward to the new location!
