Hash Over: Flavors of Passion Awards, Russo's Pizza Eating Challenge, Grape Wine Dinner, Bread Winners Turns 16, and More
Sure, the Oscars have already passed and the Emmys are still a couple of months away, but that doesn't mean award season is taking a breather. This Thursday, July 22, the Flavors of Passion Awards will celebrate world class excellence in Latino cuisine.
The Flavor of Passion Awards will recognize the best from the nation's top restaurants, including chefs from Miami, Houston, New York, and of course, Dallas. Chef Mario Reyes, a corporate chef with Nestle Professional here in Dallas, will be awarded with the Local DFW Award; while Gloria Rubio, owner of Gloria's restaurants, will be honored with the Entrepreneur Award.
The award ceremony will be held at The Westin Park Central Hotel from 6-9 p.m. For $60 per person, guests can enjoy a reception with hors d'oeuvres prepared by the award-winning chefs and a full open bar with a wine tasting. For more information on the event, visit www.flavorsofpassionawards.com.
