Sadly, the United States was eliminated from the World Cup Saturday afternoon, June 26. Before that, fans packed into local bars like The Idle Rich and Trinity Hall Pub, along with a cooled-down Angelika Theater, to scarf down cheesy burgers and throw back  mimosas and Miller Lite. The super fans, of course, donned their USA capes and face paint to cheer Donovan and the team on -- all the way through the extra 30-minute play.
