Top Chef To Go Fish

Two years ago, then-Observer restaurant critic Dave Faries wasn't exactly singing the praises of  Go Fish Ocean Club (he was fairly distracted by the waiters' chatter). You know who was impressed? Bravo TV.

Beaumont native Tiffany Derry, named Exec Chef of Go Fish Ocean Club in 2008, will be one of the many brave-o contestants of Top Chef DC beginning Wednesday June 16. To those without rabbit ears, the show will be hosted once again by Padma Lakshi and baldy Tom Colicchio (who owns Victory Park's Craft), and will funnel down contestants each week with elimination challenges.

Our very own reality TV fanatic Merritt Martin will be bloggin' it up at the start of the show, right here on City of Ate. Look out for that and Top Chef DC in June.
