Want to meet a Hilton and help raise money for a good cause all at the same time? Then you should head downtown this Thursday night...with a lot of money.

AMPM restaurant in downtown Dallas will be hosting the 2nd Annual Benefit Gala for Alley's House this Thursday, May 20. Dallas entrepreneur Chad Willis, president and CEO of Texas Energy Holdings, will host the event with celebrity co-host Nicky Hilton. Celebrity chefs Stephan Pyles and Tommy Simpson will present a four-course dinner to benefit the nonprofit Alley's House, a Dallas-based organization that's provides education and support for teenage mothers.

Single ticket to the dinner is $500 and that includes admittance to the after-dinner private event. If you're looking to only attend the after-dinner event, then the ticket is $100. The French restaurant Cadot will be celebrating its one-year anniversary this Thursday, May 20. It will offer two degustation meals starting at 7 p.m. For $75 per person, you can enjoy a three-course dinner that includes lobster salad, sautéed halibut and chocolate ganache. If you want to splurge a little more then you can purchase the five-course meal for $115 that offers hot foie gras with rhubard and raspberry demi glace, petit filet mignon and more. 8.0 Restaurant & Bar will host a wine festival this Saturday, May 22, from 12-7 p.m. The event will be on the patio and feature 36 international and national wines. It will also have a specialty menu with items like grilled yellowfin tuna with mango salsa, blackened mahi mahi with a Cajun crawfish cream sauce, and marinated jumbo shrimp kabobs. Admission is free, but $25 will get you 12 different samples from five wine-themed tables and three samples from a reserve table.

Nana will offer a summer savings menu by having a three-course meal available for $45 until September 6. Executive chef Anthony Bombaci has created prix-fixed dinner that will feature mesquite-grilled flank steak, steamed rice, glazed strawberries, mango sorbet and more.

Margarita Ranch
will host its first Stuffed Jalapeno Eating Contest this Saturday, May 22, from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. It's $10 per entry and will benefiti Still Waters, a resource center for teens. The winner will be get to eat for free for an entire year at Margarita Ranch.
