Review and Gallery: Smoke

• The mixture of spices they put on their fries is actually really good. Sort of like a more upscale version of Bojangles.

• the world is a depressing place when people are willing to die for grits.

• Wow, it's been nearly a month since there was an article about Smoke in the Observer. At this rate it may bypass the weekly update on Consilient Restaurants and the Stodg Burger.

• Had dinner there tonight with friends. We, loved it! I had the "Big Rib". The picture above doesn't do it justice. It's much larger! Delicious, too. meltingly tender and very tasty. And the accompanied blue cheese grits were, "to die for". The room is lovely and very comfortable and the staff were all very friendly, accommodating and attentive. I'm anxious to return.
